If you often change your Windows XP themes, desktop wallpaper, screensaver, general appearance or screen resolution settings, you might like to create a handy desktop shortcut to the Display Properties dialog.
To create a Display Properties shortcut, click "Start" and then "Control Panel". If the Control Panel is in "Category View", first click "Appearance and Themes" before proceeding with the steps below:
- Right-click on the "Display" Icon and then click "Create Shortcut".
- You will most likely see a message like the one shown below. Click the "Yes" button.
- An icon labelled "Shortcut to Display" should appear on your desktop.
